At the time of filming it had already been around the block a couple of times... Not sure if we see a result of professional and/or intentional coachbuilding, to be honest. ![]() Let's go a different route then: The lady serving food and beverages is very likely an uncredited Mrs. Roxie Repetto, née Chitjian, who apparently made a living by operating a mobile shop in Los Angeles. If that's an actress or an extra seen in the movie, Mrs. Repetto will have been around. Who remembers her or the van seen above and would like to memorialize her on this page by providing some more details of them? Feel free to post any additional information here or contact us via mail. Thank you in advance for any possible hint. ![]() |

At its base, it is a Stutz (1927-1937) or Diamond T (1939-1941) Pak-Age-Car - From the text, it looks like this one is a 1936+ model. The Stutz and Diamond T versions can be distinguished by a change in the windshield shape; the Diamond T windshield glass has more rounded corners and rubber gasket around the edge. Mrs. Repetto's shop has the Diamond T windshield. See also /vehicle_52360-Diamond-T-Pak-Age-Car.html |
