It's orange, so my first impression would be Allis-Chalmers. But since this movie was made in Europe, I could always be wrong. -- Last edit: 2008-02-27 15:33:17 |

It's imported from the US, that's the only info we get. |

So it is one of ours? Then unless somebody has evidence to the contrary, I'm now convinced this is an Allis-Chalmers. |

The colour almost appears to be that of an older Minneapolis Moline. |

We have some Allis Chalmer in Europe. My father had one, 25 years ago . -- Last edit: 2008-03-01 20:51:00 |

It is a Cletrac (Cleveland Tractor Co.) GG 'The General' 17 h.p., distributed in selected areas (including Sweden, I guess) by Massey-Harris from 1939 to 1941. ![]() http://cletrac.org/pages/model/pic-GG.html The production rights of this model were sold to Avery in 1941 and the model was then sold as the Avery A, painted red. http://www.infinityfarms.com/avery.htm |

Alexander, we actually have a few of those over here in Canada and the US. The odd ones turn up at collectors' auction sales. Sorry for mididentifying it as a Minnie at first, I just never remembered there being such a gap between the engine area and seat, and the ones I have seen in person were a lot lighter yellow, almost like industrial Caterpillar. |

Don't worry, Jim, the single front wheel intrigued me and got me searching. |
