By what look like Peugeot 205 rear lights and other body details, I think it can be an Aixam - a 325 or a 400, perhaps? - but it can also be another Marden Alizé, since I think the Aixam didn't have the rear lid lock. -- Last edit: 2008-02-29 17:37:32 |

Is it just me, or does this girl look a lot like Ashley Tisdale? |

Like these: http://bunnik.club.fr/0mic0001.htm ? C'est tout à fait bien possible... |

Although also wearing 205 rear lights, I think the Microcar Spid's rear lid looks different: Link to "cgi.ebay.com" |

Ben c'est exactement ça. |

elle a quand même l'air un rien différente (on dirait que celle du film a une poignée au milieu du coffre) -- Last edit: 2008-03-08 00:09:04 |

Différent de quoi? C'est clairement une spid, sans doute une 30S ![]() |

It isn't Microcar Spid, it was different. I agree it reminds the Aixam, especially the later 325i, but there are also notable differences, so it must be something else... -- Last edit: 2013-05-26 20:22:42 |

isn't this a bit too poor visible for background vehicle ? |

If it's something rare, no. |

this looks close too but in main pic it doesn't have whipers Link to "imganuncios.mitula.net" IMO so many microcars could fit with what little is viwsible it's not really worth keep it for a 1 star -- Last edit: 2014-01-30 20:25:50 |

so we keep this in the end or simply too little visible for 1 star ? -- Last edit: 2015-04-26 21:13:02 |

Let's keep it. It may open a new make. |

It is different than Spid. It has different proportions of rear window and whole rear looks for more vertical. In my comment above from 2013, I used the same pic of Spid to prove that, what we have here is not the one. ![]() |

@Weasel1984 What do you think? ![]() |

I don't feel comfortable with saying that few things are different, as I don't have idea what it is - can't propose anything. ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-09-14 22:27:13 |

The other odd thing is where does the rear number plate go?? As seen, the only possibility is a square plate on the right of the tailgate (hidden by the Clio in both pictures). Even if this was a new unregistered example, the bumper apparently has a continuous groove so would not accommodate it. |

I'm sure it is Marden, so another Marden in this movie. Look at the rear wall proportions and mentioned bumper w/o place for plate: Link to "www.ebay.com" Not sure however is it also the "Channel". "Alize" was also similar from the back. Hard to find pics of these vehicles. EDIT: better scan of '88 Marden Channel brochure - pic with closed boot lid: ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-09-15 15:50:30 |

Was there a rule which allowed some of these to be used without number plates - eg very very small engines?? |

Not in UK to my knowledge, see Rytecraft, Peel, Bond Minicar etc. -- Last edit: 2015-09-21 12:18:36 |
