The turret looks like a fake, the running gear like that of a Fisher M4A3E8 'Sherman' 'Easy Eight' (1944-45). |

I agree with Alexander, I think they are mock ups built on a Sherman chassis possibly that of M32 recovery vehicles. In the film turrets look fake and all the Shermans have a 'slot' in the frontal glacis plate (you can just see it in the image above under the gun clamp) the only Shermans that have a feature like this are the M32's. |
