Perhaps someone thought it might be a Boano? No quarter-light windows so 1957-58 Ellena. As in built by Ellena coachworks but designed by Pininfarina (then Pinin Farina). |

To be exact the departure of Felice Mario Boano and design change to higher roof were separate events and did not occur at the same time, but the consensus today is that the low roof is called "Boano" and the high roof is called "Ellena". So yes, it should be called a 250GT Ellena. High roof version was introduced in Turin in November 1957, so basically all of them - around 40 cars - were sold during 1958. |
