The yellow license plate (public transport) and the word "TAKSI" on the roof means that this episode was filmed somewhere in Indonesia. In Indonesia, the Laser was locally assembled and sold between 1986 to 1997 (1997 for fleet buyers). The fleet model of the Laser is only available in a GL trim with a 1.3L Mazda E3 engine. Chassis code should be [BF] and not the Australian [KE] designation. Here's an old photo of Lasers kicking around as taxis in Indonesia, this photo was probably taken at the early to mid 2000s since there is a Daihatsu Taruna in front of it.
