I'm tempted to go for 100M - along with the 100S, it was the only version with this style of plate light as standard - all other versions had bumpers containing the light. 100M is a rare one (640 made), but about 85% went to US; 100S is very rare racer (50 made, 25 went to US), but all production was RHD and I think had big racing filler below rear window. There were some dress-up packs to make ordinary 100/4 look like 100M, but might as well go for 100M. |

Update - different sources give different production numbers - 640 still seems correct for factory builds at Longbridge, but there is another figure of 1159 quoted in some sources, which includes cars modified by Healey in Warwick, either from new 100/4s or as used conversions. |
