Could this red car be a Renault Floride?![]() -- Last edit: 2011-04-13 17:34:54 |

Yes, either that or a Caravelle. The black car is interesting too: It's an MG 1300. |

The MG was already listed: /vehicle_5816-MG.html |

seems to be a Cabriolet with hard-top |

What about the white car standing before the floride in the air picture? Any ideas? |

No better picture of it, since the car moved in the other scene (there are 3 minutes between the two pictures... but no reason of why these cars should all have moved) |

The white car looks like a 1968-69 AMC Rambler : http://www.adclassix.com/images/69amcramblercoupe.jpg |

You're right on that. I suppose you mean the white stationcar driving in the right of the first picture. But I meant the white car in the second picture, standing parked along the road behind the Renault Floride. I think it looks somewhat like a Citroën DS? |

parked in the wrong way then? It looks quite short |

Indeed parked in the wrong way. The rear end looks a lot like a DS, with that low bumper. Also the doors are a lot wider then the roof, like a DS. But I am not sure. It was just a hinch and I was curious what you guys thought of it ![]() -- Last edit: 2005-12-31 18:08:41 |

Because of the black painted roof it has to be earlier than 1964 (since which date the hardtop had the same colour as the body, and had an edgier shape). Because there seem to be side air intakes, I'd go for a 1959-1962 Floride, renamed Caravelle for the US-market. The white car in teh thumbnail is not a DS and it is not parked in the wrong way. It is some edgy US wagon (cf the roof-rack on the rear of the roof). |
