It seems to be a Mexican taxi, so it's a Sedan usually called there "Vocho". |

Orign Mexico will be correct. It's one of the last build (see the bumpers). Nearly nothing is identically any more with the German made Typ 1. |

Not too many. The engines are different, the interior also. Until the import to Europe was stopped in 1985 there was only one single part still the same since 1945/46: a half-rounded trim, used as a holder for the front hood. And the last Mexican made Type1 hadn't any chromated part any more. Finaly this is not too bad, because the Europeand Type1-Freaks are always saying "Be aware of South American made chrome-parts. After two days driving at rainy days, they'll start to rust." This is true. |
