Looking at the Chilean website and some other sites, it looks like they went simply by Dongfeng S30/50 in Chile. The Fengshen name which is used in China is not seen. And the submitter listed it as "DMC", which does not appear to be used, even though the company name in Chile is Dongfeng Motor Corporation. I didn't seem to find any other ones in Chile on the site. If anyone has other information, please share, otherwise, I'm listing as "Dongfeng S30". https://cidef.cl/marca/dongfeng/ Link to "www.chileautos.cl") -- Last edit: 2022-02-15 05:32:46 |

Well, the main importer of the car called it a DFM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnSHYOZSuTo At the time the car was brand new, the brand was also referred to as DFM https://web.archive.org/web/20130620155554/http://www.cidef.cl/ And third party dealers also called it a DFM Link to "www.grassyarueste.cl" Later models (life the S50 that appears in the CIDEF link you posted) would be called Dongfengs (albeit they're still registered as DFMs in our national DMV), but for earlier models, I think DFM would be better apt. |

Interesting. Did they all have "DFM" and "Cidef" badges on them, like the one in the video? Thanks for the additional info! It's helpful. -- Last edit: 2022-02-15 19:58:16 |
