First Nexo on the site, it's been four years since its original debut, and strangely enough, it's in a film originating from Japan, did the film makers manage to travel to South Korea and strike a deal with Hyundai for sponsorship? Or, likely Hyundai asked them to be added as a film sponsor to signalling their return to the Japanese market? Again, Hyundai returns to the Japanese market in February 2022 with the Ioniq 5 and Nexo, one year after this film came out. I'm sure the Korean scene here is not real.

Probably the latter. I actually spotted a Nexo for rental a few months ago in Tokyo.

So why made for J? This is just a promotional import before sales officially restarted, even if this is Japan, it's still ROK spec. That's like calling this US spec:
