In total - 9,187 units, according to Lane Motor Museum. Seems reasonable, considering that they only built them between late 1938 and 1941. |

This could have been, together with the Volkswagen and the DKW, a fully valid car after the postwar period. I don't understand why Hanomag didn't take advantage of it |

Hanomag did try to re-enter the post-war passenger car market in 1951 with the Partner. Despite being modern, it was received poorly by the public and Hanomag decided to shift their focus on construction and commercial vehicles. Only 20 prototypes were made, all were scrapped except one. It looks a bit like a Hansa 1500, however a lot more compact. |
