The C-series full-cab trucks were redesigned in 1974- the flat-cowl chassis didn't follow until the mid '80s. Considering that probably 80-85% of flat-cowl chassis become school buses and almost all of the rest become armored trucks, it's an odd segment in which to offer a product that looks older than it is... |

You're a year off. It was 1973. From that point until 1984 they were offered in both styles. This applies to both GMC and Chevrolet. -- Last edit: 2008-03-16 20:03:45 |

Note the high-back interior seating: This school bus couldn't be any older than 1977. Also, the positioning of the marker lights changed on Wards in the early 1980s; so this particular vehicle is probably a decade and a half newer than 1967. |
