Local build. Swithering between Super Snipe S4 (as entered) with long wing between door and wheel arch or Hawk S5 - no script badge on front wing above chrome strip or thick chrome strip along sills. Trim segment around side windows and 2-tone (white roof, trim line at base of C-pillar) are local quirks not seen in UK. Keeping it as SS S4, but would be interested if any local experts can confirm these details. |

Length of bonnet/front wings says six cylinder engine to me. |

... in which case I'll inch it forward to 1956 Mk.IVb for chrome strip under windows. |

No dissent here. (Good grief, did I say that?) -- Last edit: 2022-04-10 21:27:07 |

Bonnet mascot confirms Super Snipe, and chrome below side and rear windows matches S4b. I thought from main it was a subtle 2-tone (which in UK was S4b option) of white roof over cream body, but looks all-white; I guess the different colour side window treatment is the Aus translation of the 2-tone idea. |
