In the late 70s there would be as many chances of this being a conversion as a "real" GTS/4 loaned to a movie, nowadays I would expect an owner of a factory Spyder would be more reluctant. Ferrari sent to US about 100 Spyders, roughly the same number as there were local conversions (though this probably continued during the early 80s). Most of those by the neigbouring shops of Straman and Sheehan in Costa Mesa, California. Link to "www.ferrarichat.com"
