It is said to be a prototype with a vertical, but side mounted boiler and an undertype engine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traction_engine#Steam_wagon I assume, as there is no further information, that it was a prototype for the S Type using parts from a DG Type. If anyone knows anthing about this vehicle and it's whereabouts I would be most interested.

DestinyOne ◊ 2012-12-26 15:40	This truck wasn't a steamer, it was a mock-up made from a diesel truck for the movie. The soundtrack came from my fathers sentinel (753?), recorded driving it up and down a disused runway.
