I'm leaning towards the 1955 Buick, but only because of the side trim near the rear quarter-panel. |

It has the bustle trunk but no chrome stone guard on the back fender so I make it to be a Super 4 door sedan. |

At this point, a person with accurate knowledge of interior trim levels could identify it quite easily. Just noticed there is a model name script behind the rear door, which makes this a 1955 Buick Super model 52 Four Door Sedan. In 1955, the Buick Roadmaster had the script on the trunk instead of the winged Buick emblem with the Buick crest. Believe Buick did that to set the top of the line Roadmaster apart from the rest of the Buick line up even more. -- Last edit: 2017-10-09 01:13:43 |
