Wikipedia list of their models is confusing. 260 something ? It does seem to have a later Venturi badge, instead of the earlier MVS badge..

1989+ logo
Model is "Coupé 260".

First Venturi if I remember correctly had no model name. Just Venturi. This resource http://www.autozine.org/Archive/Venturi/classic/Venturi.html names the first '200' (i.e. horsepower) but that's more in retrospect after the 260 arrived. I don't think anyone at the time used 'Venturi 200' as they did say 'Venturi 260'. Go at the end of the page and it's simply 'Venturi' as I remember it. Beautiful coupe by the way a bit like a taller Ferrari 355 but better looking imo.

The logo is indeed later but I think the rear badge simply says VENTURI and not VENTURI 260. Compare: [Image: ven.jpg] [Image: ven260.jpg] ..but rest of car looks like a 260 indeed. So model badge is perhaps wrong after all?

Similar case & discussion here -> Venturi logo, but registered as MVS, even though :
Quote Although the car was great, MVS remained small and largely unknown. In 1989, its majority stake was sold. Under the new owner, it took steps to expand. In 1990, the company name MVS was dropped in favour of Venturi.
(from that autozine link above).

So this is even more confusing.

I guess to join the others, it could be called MVS Venturi. 1990+ ? Since it's no longer MVS-badged but still considered as MVS product?

I read the other page but I don't know which is right. Technically they should be separated as the manufacturer changed name which is reflected in the new badge (it's not like Stellantis now "makes" Opels, they're still named/sold as Opels). But they could be kept together as MVS Venturi's I guess.

Agree keep them together, otherwise they can get scattered and lost. MVS Venturi seems best choice as it gives 2 routes to finding them.

1992 plate, new "bird of prey" badge. IMHO, not an MVS anymore, just a Venturi.

The base model, at the time of the MVS > Venturi change, was called the 210, not the 200.

What I meant was at launch when there was only one model it was simply Venturi with no other designation. But I won't bet my house on it being the case!

Yes, Venturi as the model and MVS as the brand.

As said in the first comment, this one obviously has a Venturi oval badge on the rear (and the front, but there you don't see the badge well enough). Earlier models had a MVS badge there.
They used Venturi as make since 1989, it is more logical to follow that here too.
Before the 260, it was just "Coupé" it seems.
