Cadillac Sedan De Ville , 1966 |

"DeVille"? Not necessarily. It could be also a "Calais" series sedan. |

Yes could also be a Calais |

So we only list it as a 1966 Cadillac, or is one of these two models more common? (and could be used then) -- Last edit: 2006-01-01 12:24:30 |

The statistics that I have say nothing about the models, only 12 Cadillacs sold in Sweden during the first 9 months of 1966. Maybe it´s more likely to be a Calais, but that´s only a guess. |

Surely there were a lot more DeVilles produced in total than Calais? |

I found another source, with the prices for the cars sold in Sweden during 1966 and the De Ville is not among them. There are two models of the Calais, one Fleetwood and the series 75. It could still be received on a special order though, but it´s less likely. |

It is certainly a 1966, and probably a Deville, as the Calais model is not very common. It is not a Fleetwood series 60 or 75, as those had a wreath around the crest on the hood and no body side moldings midway up the side like this one does. |
