Agree Vantage for badge along trim in wing vent. 9 DBS 6-cylinder were finished in Bahama Yellow, of which 5636/R (The Persuaders car - true plate was PPP 6H) was the fifth made, with 5547 being the first. No info found for identifying how many of the 9 were Vantage. Any glimpse of the rear pillar?? If it has vents 67-69, if clean 70-72. The photo might be a very posh event if that's the unique 1968 Miura Roadster in background. And as a long shot, is that the Lambo 400 Flying Star II alongside?? |

Yes to almost everything. The Miura is not the roadster, the angle and colour are a bit misleading but it is a posh event, the 2013 Villa d'Este Concorso, the Lambo is indeed the Flying Star and the Aston is the Persuaders car. ... which means it is not a Vantage. 5636/R (alias BS 1, alias PPP 6H) was a plain DBS dressed up by A-M as a V8 for its screen exposure, including badges. |
