2020+ Some details are patterned after the Soul EV, like the bodycolor front bumper section, '=' foglights (colored black by animators), wheels, and rear bumper. Soul EV front: https://www.netcarshow.com/kia/2020-soul_ev/1280x960/wallpaper_01.htm Soul EV rear: https://www.netcarshow.com/kia/2020-soul_ev/1280x960/wallpaper_0d.htm Non-EV front: Link to "commons.wikimedia.org" Non-EV rear: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:2020_Kia_Soul_S,_rear_9.4.19.jpg (compare the black plastic section and rear reflectors) Is there any indication in the movie that it could be an electric car? The Soul EV was scheduled to go on sale in the US for the 2021 model year but Kia cancelled it at the last minute, concentrating here on the Niro EV and EV6. The interior dashboard shots are 2014-2019: https://www.netcarshow.com/kia/2014-soul/1280x960/wallpaper_3e.htm -- Last edit: 2022-06-26 22:01:05 |

I highly doubt that this is an EV... the movie is mostly set in the U.S., and the 2nd-Gen Soul EV was originally intended to be sold here, but Kia cancelled it prior to it going on sale. |
