I think this swather could be a Versatile, especially if this was filmed in Canada and you don't normally find swathers in Kansas. |

Or it could be a Cockshutt or a Co-op or a Killbery. Looks like it has steering levers instead of a steering wheel, doesn't it? Looks like it has a water-cooled engine? Not a Massey Ferguson 36 or a Versatile 400. -- Last edit: 2012-10-03 01:04:20 |

This is a hard swather to track down. It seems that if it is a Massey Ferguson, it would be a model before the 36 which had lever steering. As far as I know, all Versatile self-propelled swathers had steering wheel steering. |

It looks like there's a round yellow decal on the side. Massey-Harris Clipper combines had round yellow decals. It seems like this swather could be a Massey-Harris from the 1950s. -- Last edit: 2012-10-03 07:11:50 |

I found it. It's an McCormick 161 windrower. Link to "www.redpowermagazine.com" Could possibly be a 163. -- Last edit: 2014-08-18 16:35:13 |
