Strange... Was that a prototype?!? I´ve never seen such an assortment of features: S&S landau bows and coachlamps on quarter panel without lower rear curve + standard glass (but vinyl roof reaching the door frames!) + old Cadillac RWD chassis before facelift + Superior shape of early 90s... What a freakmobile! OK, this can only be a late 80s S&S Victoria of some sort. |

Superior used this front grille ensemble on its professional funeral cars mounted on Cadillac chassis for 1981. From 1981-1984 the coachbuilder continued to use the Cadillac commercial chassis with a wheelbase of 144.5 inches. The full-length, padded vinyl roof covering was not uncommon on Superior professional cars, especially on Buick chassis. |
