It's a US-spec car, production with this headlight configuration started in september '67. The indicator lights underneath the bumper, the side markers and the absence of the glass plate in front of the headlights are typical for the US-models. Most US-spec cars had airco, this one has not (there are no openings in the front bumper). Funny they 'frenched it up' with a Parisian license plate... The colour of the car appears to me like it is Gris Palladium, on European cars only untill '68 (though I'm not sure if this is also true for the US-cars). From '68 onwards the silver colour was called Gris Nacré, I'm afraid that's a bit more on the dark side (oh well, fear leads to the dark side anyway...) -- Last edit: 2008-04-16 10:43:54 |

It's quite a good fake French plate; pity it dates back to 1953 ... |

It's probably a genuine French plate taken from a car made in 1953. -- Last edit: 2008-04-16 18:51:03 |

I was an extra in this film...most of the movie was filmed in old Montreal. |
