Although there is a variety of photos online of "COR 615J", I don't think it's a real plate. Not issued in period and nothing on check sites; COR 615K was issued to a 1971 Jaguar, so 615J could only have existed if xOR had gone through a complete sequence within a year. So a display/screen plate, but reasonably accurate for what looks like a 1971-74 Transit. Some chance it's GUW 365N with different side striping " Ford Mk.1 Transit GUW 365N at the NEBPT's Rally at Seaburn on 31 August 2015. The 'North Riding Ambulance Service' markings are from its appearance in the TV show 'Heartbeat', when it was registered NUW 365G to match the time period of the programme" - not posted on that imcdb page. Probably also seen here with a stupid plate. |
