![]() ![]() Ep 6 : ![]() ![]() ![]() Ep 7 : ![]() Now after watching ep 7, there is definitely a sidemarker, but why is it so large? Either way, is it 1981+ because of that? -- Last edit: 2022-08-27 11:36:42 |

Yes for 1981+, but can't explain why sidemarker seems too big. Noted that 924 Turbo stopped at end of 82 due to 944 arrival, except for Italy where it stayed available until 84. |

Technically it's rather a repeater, not a sidemarker light, but it seems to be a lamp more suited for a truck It's not unique, though: Link to "prod.pictures.autoscout24.net" |

Have been looking at pictures of Italian 924s - sample selection - and going slightly cross-eyed trying to compare before/after 1980-81 examples. But a possible explanation - maybe all 924s for I had side repeaters as part of the Italian spec, and this format is actually the pre-81 version - larger and slightly out of position (further forward) than the standardised fit for 81 onwards. Also in passing the number plates look strange - rear too big and front odd with the black dummy behind - but maybe this had normal modern I plates but removed and clumsy retro 70s mock ups were fitted for filming?? |

Yes, probably, plates are definitely fake ![]() |
