Beautiful car! The essential 1940s detective car! I wonder if this movie was the inspiration for Phelp's '47 Cadillac Series 62 convertible in LA Noire. Link to "images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com" (apologizes for the absurdly long link) |

The car in L.A. Noire belonged to narcotics/vice partner Roy Earle, actually. Phelps drove it, however. Probably chosen for his corrupt, flamboyant and arrogant nature. Roy Earle and Harlan Fontaine are probably my favourite characters from that game, I wonder if there are certain characters in movies from the same era that served as the inspiration for them? |

Oh yeah, that's right. Kind of odd he'd just let Phelps drive his brand new expensive car, hardly a thing I would do. Supposedly, most of the cars in LA Noire were modeled off of ones Jay Leno has. |
