Not Datsun ? |

Not in Japan, no. Outside Japan this would have been a Datsun K series. I agree that this one should be properly called a Nissan Skyline 2000GT. vehicle_21385-Nissan-Skyline-GT-KPGC110-1973.html -- Last edit: 2008-04-24 17:17:53 |

This thing gets blown up by the bad guys, who wire the ignition to a bomb. However, the movie's resident Interpol agent figures this out and rigs it to blow when they're not in the car. Apparently the producers didn't want to blow up the real Nissan Skyline, so they substitute this thing: Doesn't look a THING like the real car. Some sloppy editing right there. -- Last edit: 2008-04-24 17:10:37 |

But it's a Nissan Bluebird 410, Two door version from 1965 |

Still not the same car, though. |

Actually, now that I think about it, since Bref identified the, uh, "stunt car," should we list it? If so, it'd get 2 stars, I think. |

Dosen't this car blow up. |
◊ 2009-02-05 15:01 |
no, the bluebird does, due to the fact that it is seen for three seconds, maybe less. the producers were smart not to blow up such a glorious car. |

The front fascia of this car reminds me of the first gen Challenger! Anyone else see that? |

Is there any way I could find out where this car is today and if it's still around? |
