Built between late 1965 and late 1967 not yet MY 1968 by still swan neck mirror 2nd series W110 could be a 200 or 230 but no 200D @no-a is there any bit of original sound indicating wether it is 4 cyl 200 or 6 cyl 230 ? 230/200 * 40.000/70.000 ~ 36% of Benziner were 230 |

Standard Catalog has 200, 200D, 230 and 230S arriving for 66 in US and continuing thru 67. It says 230 was same appearance as 200, except it "wore a front end like the 250 with single headlamps and an upper bumper guard bar". No sign of upper bumper guard bar here, so 200?? |

Think only the July 1966+ 230S was equipped with upper bumper guard bars as standard togehter with the 120HP S-class engine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9NNoxAI7k4 I punish myself for lying here a 200D with upper bumpers, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EyuyKSSHWA and what abot the rare decoration line, is it aftermarket? |

There is another hint for a 230: last thumb provided by no-a shows rear seats with center armrest* beeing standart on 230. * Although we can't see armrest the shiny mid section is suspiciously. |
