At the approximate period of this film, Southampton Corporation Transport was a strong user of the Guy Arab, Marks II & III, with predominantly Park Royal coachwork. While not totally certain, I am confident enough to suggest that both the deckers in this picture are of that type. |

Reelstreets has this as Portsmouth Dockyard, but it was suggested to me by two different people that it's actually Chatham. Both 'deckers look like they have the Maidstone and District insignia on the side, and (although in blak and white) the livery would also support that. If you accept that, then it was suggested to me that the lead bus is a Bristol K6A, new in 1944/5 but by then rebodied by Weymann. The second may be a wartime Guy Arab, also a Weymann rebody. |

Fair enough. I have to say I wondered where Big Chief Guy-Guy had gone! |

This film unusually for cheapo Brit flicks has a lot of location filming in naval dockyards. But it all appears to be Portsmouth to me. |

^ I don’t have knowledge either way in terms of which dockyard. The leading decker could be a Bristol, from the radiator shape, but the coachwork design and paint scheme could, to me, be either Cha’am or So’ton. |
