This one will be a bit newer, because of the size of the central light, headlights "frames", front wings (one piece with headlights) and this small front "grill" somwhere about 1939 early 40's I think. There is a question what the word "do" means in Slovak? In Polish it means "until/to", but something tells that maybe in Slovak it can be "since" (as I guess it better fits to the context of this text: http://www.tatraportal.sk/?ukaz=popisky/t87_sk&lang=sk where we can see all mentioned differences and read that it is a model "do 1943"). I heard that when Nazi troops occupied our country, Germans drove in Tatras rather than in their Mercedes-Benzes, but they drove Tatras so fast as 160 kph and they died very often |

The thing I missed previously at the linked website is the type of headlights in post-war version. This way this one is IMO a 1946+ (otherwise 1938+). |
