My girlfrinds says it's a Volvo. |

Your gf might be right! It could be a Volvo BM (Bolinder-Munktell) 'Krabat'. Is she a farmer's daughter from Sweden? |

Not quite. She's a garden designer. She recognized the typical faded red old Volvo tractors get. |

I would say that its _not_ a Volvo. The Krabat is longer and lower, it has no grilles on the sides, rear fenders are covering a bigger angle of the wheel, the rear wheels are too big compared to the front wheels and the rear wheels doesn't look like Volvo (they should be red but can of course have been repainted) |

NOOO! With those "goggles", this is the most recognisable of all the Nuffields, the last series before they got branded Leyland. Judged by the size (using the sheep as reference), this is a 4/65 model (1967 -1969, although some are listed as 1970 models) - http://www.tractorshed.com/gallery/tphotos/a104723.jpg and for those who would like to read more about it: http://www.tractordata.com/td/td1108.html http://www.antiquetractorstore.com/articles/artint78.htm |
