AEC Regent May 1936, STL1331.

A rumour existed that “STL” stood for “Short Type Long”, but probably apocryphal.

By the way, what cab door? They didn’t have one.

Didn't the drivers get very soggy?? And/or cold (even if they were next to/above engine)?? Either wet seats/cabins after being squirted, weather conditions of various sorts, road spray, whatever else ...
