Not very clear this one .Looks like a Buick Special Business or Sports coupe of 1937 or 1938. |

It could be any 37-38 GM B-Body Coupe, i.e. Chevy (which I outrule by the 'squared off' front wings (sorry, fenders)), Pontiac (didn't they already have 'Silver Streaks' across the boot (sorry, trunk) lid?), Oldsmobile (my guess) or Buick Special. It is only possible to tell for sure, if one can see the grille. Is there a shot in which it is visible? |

As far as I noticed, this is the only glimpse we get of this car. The dots belong to Deborah Kerr ![]() |

Did some further research. It could be an Oldsmobile F 36 six coupe of 1938 , since the headlights are placed rather low relative to the hoodline , a characteristic of Oldsmobile's semi integrated headlights in the front fenders in 1938.There also seem , but it is very very small,to be standing lights at the rear of the car on the beltline , another characreristic of Oldsmobile. |
