This could be a G2 /vehicles_make-Yamaha_model-G2.html a G9 /vehicles_make-Yamaha_model-G9.html or a G8 /vehicles_make-Yamaha_model-G8.html I will go for G2 because this show is from 1997 to 2001 and it already looks pretty used meaning its a little less likely to be a G9, and the only G8 on this site has headlights. |

I said G9 for a reason, tom. I think and examine before I make my identifications. According to the link I posted, the G8 has a completely different body, so we can rule that one out. After that, details are important. Detail #1: trim around the front cowl - it's black on the G9; on the G2 it's metal and extends all the way to floor level Detail #2: trim inside the cart below the seats - it's narrower and wraps around the corners on the G9; on the G2 it's taller and does not wrap around Detail #3: trim on the side below floor level - flat, probably plastic on the G9; protruding, probably rubber on the G2 Everything on this cart is consistent with a G9. To address your other concern, the G9 was an updated version of the G2 and was introduced in 1991, so it could be plenty well used by 1997. |
