I like those mirrors! They must have needed all that bracing to stop them from blurring the image. |

I think I know what it is, but I dare not say it. Its name is outrageously racist. |

White Super Power? ![]() |

In U.K., White is a fairly frequently encountered surname. So is Black, and so is Brown, there is also Green. Surely prejudice exists in the mind of the beholder, and I find this “woke” business pathetic. |

White is okay as a brand name, but "Super Power" really makes it sound like a KKK truck. This is not woke, it's common sense. Just like this: https://cphpost.dk/?p=45777 -- Last edit: 2022-11-19 15:27:56 |

So what are they going to call the river? It’s all twaddle. https://www.brannan.co.uk/product/twaddle-hydrometer/ -- Last edit: 2022-11-19 16:45:32 |

As do I john. As do I. The truck should be named how the manufacturer intended the nomenclature to be. Erasing history or conforming to appeal certain people is a very slippery slope. |

This truck is much older than the phrase 'white power' which only dates back to the 1960's civil rights movement in the US. |

This discussion alone makes me glad wokeness is seen as a sick Western joke outside of Leftist Twitter in my country... |

I don't know where people are getting all this, of course we're going to go by what the brochure says. I never said we shouldn't. You are putting words in my mouth I never even said. All I said was "I think I know what it is, but I dare not say it. Its name is outrageously racist..." and the basic quintessence was "hur hur - White Super Power, that sounds like the KKK started building trucks" Why is it every time someone tells a ironic joke, I take it for granted, yet when I make one lame and clearly comprehensible joke or pun, everyone immediately treats it like defusing a bomb? -- Last edit: 2022-11-20 12:24:08 |
