Captiva [C100], obviously, model badge is visible on the trunk, South Korean origin and Made for RI. Indonesian-spec models were built and sourced from Thailand. At least 2007-2011 for the pre-facelift in Indonesia. Initial trim for 2007 MY only was LT, only available with a 2.4 gasoline engine. That trim was renamed to 2.4 LT from 2008 onwards, following the introduction of a diesel engine for 2008 MY, the 2.0 LT. No way to check DR 288 ST, that's gonna be a West Nusa Tenggara plate, DR is for the Lombok area. I found one site that able to check one of those plates, but it requires to enter a regency postal code, which is something that I'm not an expert of, not gonna link it here. |

After squinting my eyes on the third thumb, looks like this is a 2008+ 2.4 gasoline-powered. It also had the accessories commonly fitted to the 2008 gasoline model, such as the 17-inch wheels (same wheel to the 2.0L diesel AWD trim), and these smoked clear taillights. So 2008+ Captiva 2.4 (GM Indonesia didn't list any trim level in the original brochure, weirdly enough, just 2.4 M/T, 2.4 A/T, and 2.0 VCDi, no VCDi AWD until 2009). Thailand-sourced. -- Last edit: 2022-11-30 17:58:41 |

Sorry about that, I thought LT is included per some used car listings, I think those second-hand dealers gotten that wrong. ![]() I was also going to say this negates a 2008-2011 by those wheels and taillights, as they were optional accessories introduced from 2008 MY AFAIK, but was pretty skeptical. I did see the little 2.4 badge on the third thumb. |
