At the time it was a brand of it´s own under Willys-Overland Co. They tried different brandnames during the twenties and thirties: Willys, Willys-Overland, Overland, Whippet. |

Willys-Knight may be considered as a brand on its own, though they were built by the Willys Overland Corpration of Toledo. The Willys-Knights were all powered by the Knight patent double sleeve valve engines. In the United States ,they were often didtributed by separate dedicated dealers. |
