This looks more like a gull wing coupe than a convertible.

This is a beautiful and very rare Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

Driver of this beautiful and very rare Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing said to the girls that he took out the 6 cylinder and "shoehorned" a "383 Hemi". 426 was the only hemi I heard of in the era of the 383, and to even suggest such a terrible fate for that car is worthy of fines and imprisonment to the offender.

I HIGHLY doubt they did anything to this car other than thrown in some sound effects after production, and I don't think 383 hemis even exist.

You're 100% correct on that!!! Chrysler never manufactured a 383 Hemi after it it was reintroduced in '64, There was only the 426 Hemi, And the Cowboy SOB should be imprisoned for life after putting a 383 Chrysler (which was a great engine but it definitely does NOT belong in a Mercedes!!!) These 300 SL Gullwings were already hellaciously fast with the 6!!! They could easily top 150+ mph!!!

383 Hemis never existed, he means a Chrysler 383 big block, and the only Hemi in that era was the 426 ! Please stop hating as well.
