Was called the Opel Ascona in ZA, FWIW |

Filming locations are Portugal and Spain, so maybe just Ascona? |

Judging by the traffic cars i'd say this is South America. |

They were probably similar but not exactly the same, it has to be a Chevrolet or an Opel. |

Idmb says this movie is filmed in Portugal. It is most likely an Opel Ascona |

It's definetely an Opel Ascona C, if it was filmed in Spain or Portugal. |

If it was shot in south America (see the thumbnail with the VW Fusca-taxi), it may be a Chevrolet. But it's an Ascona-version, not Pontiac Sunbird and so on, as banger134 wrote. -- Last edit: 2008-05-23 22:43:55 |

This trim doesn't match with the Brazilian Chevrolet Monza. It's possible to see the badge on the front wing that identifies the Berlina trim of the Ascona [C]. So I would say it's a 1982+ Opel Ascona [C] in Berlina trim. |

I agree RPCM. The windows trim, for example, is different from Brazilian Chevrolet Monza. |
