Looks like GM [J] platform to me. |

I see it as a Pontiac so I think it is a J2000 or 2000 depending on it's age. Also, since it has wood trim, it is probably an LE series. -- Last edit: 2008-05-26 18:12:02 |

Could be a Pontiac J2000/Sunbird although the wagon versions are quite rare. I know they used those wheels on the Cavalier, I'm not sure about the Pontiac. Too bad I can't read what that fender badge says. How sure are you Big Dave? |

I am pretty sure, I would bet that badge reads 2000LE |

Thanks antp. That really firms up that it is a Pontiac J-body for me. It is difficult to find images. |

Ok guys this is a Pontiac J-boby Station Wagon 2nd generation they were badged as follow. (in Canada)*** 81-82 Pontiac J2000 83 J2000 84 2000 Sunbird 85-88 Sunbird ... it`s look like having a badge 2000-LE on front fender, so it`s must be an 83-84 year model. *** I suppose that US market were badged the same way -- Last edit: 2008-05-26 20:32:17 |

The Safari name should be added to the end since that is what Pontiac called all of their wagons during that time frame. |

This has the wide beak, so 1984 2000 Sunbird Safari or 1985-87 Sunbird Safari |
