It is a 1951-53 Chrysler Crown Imperial Limousine. Up to 1954 Imperials were Chrysler models, only from 1955 onwards Imperial was a seperate make within the Chrysler Corporation. |

Incorrect. This is a 1953 Chrysler Limousine. The Imperial Limousine has its own unique sheet metal ahead of the A pillars. (I own a 53 Imperial). |

License plate M1. M = Malmöhus län. This number belonged to a 1959 Chrysler in 1962 owned by the county government. 1 was usually reserved for the county governor or government. A1 was used by the king. There where a few exceptions, O1 and W1 was owned by private individuals. |

This has been mislabeled for over 10 years! Changing from '51 to '53. Note the grille closely and fact the car has a one-piece windshield. |
