Again, i know the angles are atrocious but allow me to briefly explain. This is a Single Cab AT4 which, in this configuration, is not available in the States nor Canada from what i recall. ![]() Photos in Person just to make this clear. ![]() ![]() [s]All light duty, Gulf Spec Silverado/Sierras from 2018 upwards are built in Mexico.[/s] EDIT: No, i'm wrong. -- Last edit: 2023-03-24 11:25:57 |

Correct. We do not get the high-trimmed Regular Cabs in the U.S. and Canada anymore. They're all WT trim level here. They do get these, along with the LT Trail Boss Regular Cab Silverados in Mexico though. |

The Mexican Market is definitely the reason why GM even bothered to sell those models over here to begin with. -- Last edit: 2023-03-23 20:41:52 |

This is only true for Regular Cab models. When the 2019 model [T1XX] platform came out, they moved production of the 1500 Regular Cabs from Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Silao, Mexico. In return, they brought more production of the higher volume, higher profit 1500 Crew Cabs back stateside. U.S. and Canadian 1500 Regular Cabs are also solely built in Mexico for this generation. Here's a 2019 Gulf-spec Crew Cab AT4 that was built at Ft. Wayne. https://www.emiratesauction.com/en/cars/CarDetails.aspx?randid=169147 |

I been literally looking at VINs of every Silverado/Sierra at my local dealership and somehow i never noticed that. ![]() You're correct, i checked the Gulf's "Fuel Economy Label" guide where they list all of the officially sold models locally and GMC Sierra's listings shows both American & Mexican VINs. Update: I checked the local GM showroom and it appears that one of the double/crew cab Sierra's were built in Mexican. I'm honestly confused on what to believe. -- Last edit: 2023-04-12 22:26:16 |

That's right. The Crew Cabs are built in both the USA and Mexico (and Silverados are also built in Canada), while the Regular Cabs are all Mexican-produced. Double Cabs are all made in the USA. |
