924. Turbo? Even though these wheels are associated with the Turbo I think you could order them with the base version (I think?) and anyway they could be retrofitted. Not sure you can tell a Turbo from a side view ![]() |

Agree 924. But 2 quirks: - all Porsches (apart from US/CDN spec) got small square side indicators 81+, but these are bigger and slightly further forward - Italy continued to get 924 Turbo after it was dropped for everywhere else at end of 82 when 944 arrived, for tax reasons However I'm ignoring 2nd point here and thinking this is a pre-81 Italian Turbo, like this one. |

Could be. Wiki says you could get those wheels with an S from 1980-on. No idea about indicators or Italian 924s though. |

But 924 S was 86+, and just as unsuited for Italy as it had the same 2.5 engine as 944. Body colour fuel filler apparently 1980+, although not sure what it looked like earlier. Entering as 80 Turbo - nothing as seen contradicts this. |

Ah! sorry should have said S pack not the late "924 S" model. "...However, four-wheel disc brakes, five stud hubs and alloys from the 924 Turbo were available on the base 924 as an "S" package starting with the 1980 model year..." from wiki. But as you say nothing is against Turbo. |
