i've seen a few here but a funny guy kept writing Dacia on them over an over again.. as far as the real Renault 12 is concerned, just like you i don't think i ever saw one |

Possibly a later grille than 74 (76+??) and a Station Wagon (compare)?? |

I'm glad there's something rare in this set of mostly common cars And now I see it as a station wagon too |

These practically disappeared by the early 1980s in the US. A few 17 Gordini's survived a little longer, but it's been around 30-35 years since I've seen one in person. There was a local junkyard that had two of them sitting by the entrance for a long while, rotting away. And there was an old AMC-Renault dealership that had converted to a used car lot by the early 1990s that I used to drive by, they had a 17 Gordini sitting in the back, also rotting away. I'm guessing that was also scrapped when the shop eventually closed for good. |

the only Renault ( a part of 5 and whatever was sold by AMC/Eagle dealerships ) i ever saw was a 16 ( and i had to look on google to know what the heck i just saw.. ) , a 1st gen Laguna wagon ( about 2-3 years ago, in winter on top of that ! ) and this Megane RS ( i was at the bank waiting for a friend when it came in ) -- Last edit: 2023-03-25 20:31:56 |
