This particular version of the "generic chinese suv from the 00s" appears to have Zhongxing logo on the mudflaps. I snooped around for a bit, and they did a car like that, according to the auto-che database: https://auto-che.com/v/bq/bq6501r2b-68-tianye-zx-auto.html Livery seems to match up aswell.

What was personally bothering me with this being listed as Shuguang is that those cars appeared to have the spare tire fitted on the left side of the car, while this has it on the right. I also dunno whats up with the logo on the spare tire too, as that doesnt resemble the ZX logo. Or any logo that i can think of for that matter...

Could be, i dont have anything to disprove that theory. Pretty sure some of these cars came with no external spare tire.

Another observation: The logo is missing on the grille, i wonder if it was forgotten to be put on, or fallen off at some point heh.

Alright, since this is still incorrectly listed as Shuguang, I went and searched for the movie in search of more evidence, here's a zoom onto the badge:

I am quite certain the start says BQ6501, characters afterwards arent R2B as on the car i linked to, more like T2somethin, but eh we got the gist of it, sometimes the differences are so miniscule i struggle to find what is the actual difference, perhaps a different engine or somethin. Latin characters seem to just say "SUV", my knowledge of Zhongxings is kinda lacking to be honest - i never looked too deeply into them.

EDIT: Friend of mine checked in the MIIT mobile app, and theres no "T2" anywhere, so this is then most likely a R2B after all... The model name indeed seems to be just "SUV", i have found an article from 2004 where the car is refered to as such (its some facelift (or perhaps the original model), with different front end but the same body)
