Looks like the 1976 F3 car of Geoff Lees, thus would be a Chevron B38. In 1977 no F3 race was held in Britain, which would make it plausible that the car was available for filming. Geoff Lees went on to formula 1 in 1978. |

The red car is a Formula Atlantic or Formula 2 car.It has larger wheels and tires than the F3 car and runs Webber carbs on a BDA engine FA, or fuel injection on F2 Ithink it is an F2 car as youcan see injector lines and air filter is angled up .Webber s are more horizontal .The F3 car also uses an air restrictor on the airbox.The photo in Ralphs comment is an F3 car.The 27mm air restrictor is on the left side of the car. |
