Looking at thumbnail #2, the awkward A-pillar and header panel lead me to believe this was a coupe that had its roof cut off and not a factory convertible. |

Indeed, not a 6267F, but a former coupe, modified. A better one, compared to various awful jobs we have on the site! Repainted and at least partly reupholstered, so we can't be entirely sure where the modification starts - door panel shows moldings that were used for the Coupe de Ville and the Series 62 Convertible, but not for the 62 Coupe. Power operated vent window regulators were available for all of them. Tonneau cover looks pretty flat, so maybe there's no folding top underneath (potential prop car). I suppose this was a Coupe de Ville, but they tried their best to imitate the factory convertible, so we don't know how far they went interior-wise. |
