I'd say they have enough similarities to both be Freightliners, no clue on model name. Apparently these were referred to as "half cabs".

Cook Brothers was a small manufacturer in Los Angeles that built similar trucks with the same grille, but as with your Freightliner the bumper/headlights don't match:

Also resembles but does not match Fabco WT-Series, mainly used in agriculture:

I remember seeing a Reo or Diamond T (with the model name Q-Series maybe?) like this on Hank's Truck Pictures, but the site is defunct.

Have you tried the Wayback Machine?

I did; Hank denied them access: "Sorry. This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine."

It seems 1953 Kenworth Cab-Beside-Engine truck's cab was the template for other half cab trucks

with this one, it's not just the cabin that seems similar, unfortunately the make cannot be recognized.

I believe the make would be Cook Brothers.

Here's an M130 model. (Obviously Not The Same Truck)

Specs come from any "Big-Four" related brand. (White, Reo, Freightliner, etc)

I assume these are just made using parts from each division.

Obviously the same press tools were used here! The way of punching frame parts was also copied.
A detail that comes up again and again is the ventilation flap for the driver.
What we are still missing is the smoking gun, like a label on top of the grille mask.

I also suggest a Crane carrier truck...
