What a waste of such a good car. This 18 seemed in good nick before the truck driver pushed it through the wall. Still this car surely could have been repaired and used again? |

No, it wasn't. If you check the details, you'll see, that every body part was dented and distorted before. Plus the fact, that even very good Renault 18 -if you find a R18 anyways- are still very low-priced. |

I looked at the two photos of the car before it got wrecked and I see no distortions in the bodywork. Still the damage looks relatively superficial + I'd nearly think the car would still drive. |
